This is for Empyre and Cozeburn units with the following: The assembly has lights on control panel to indicate the water level in the boiler.. This is a retrofit stainless steel ball float. The ball on end of float measures 1.40" W X 2" H. There is a 1.75" hole on top of the boiler where the breather tube is on top of the boiler. This replacement part has a gauge that says safe and has water level on it, also has cover, stem and float ball. This is a retrofit. It used to be plastic and it is now a stainless steel float.
-Follow instructions included in technical bulletin in the Specs to unhook electrical float lights and relay's when installing retrofit float.
-Does not fit Elite 100 or 200 Models
Information: Control panels had Float lights after 2004. The liquid level switches are no longer available. When these fail, it is best to plug them as they leak. Remove the float lights from the boiler and plug holes. Unhook the small red wire off the 12 volt relay on the left side. Install the manual float.
When lights go bad on your unit, put in the retrofit float to be able to check the water level.
