Digital temperature controller programmed love joy. Temperature probe is not included. This unit is programmed to work with the Empyre and Cozeburn indoor and outdoor wood boilers.

This is the sequence to reset the digital aquastat
1- push set button, SP will appear
2- push set button again, high limit temperature will appear
3- push up or down arrow to move high temperature set point
4- push set button again to reset high temperature set point
5- push set button & down arrow together, will return digital aquastat
to actual water temperature, or after pushing set arrow 2nd time,
leave alone for 1 minute. Actual water temperature will show again.
Under no circumstances should any 250 or 450 have a shut off temperature under 170*. At 170* shut off this boiler has a 10* differential built in & will not restart until under 160*. With the difference between temperature leaving the boiler & the return water temperature of 20* or greater, this unit will build creosote in the boiler & chimney and will condensate inside the boiler at temperatures under 140*.
If the controller reads the temperature accurately and is adjustable, then generally it is okay.
